Interact Projects

Community Service projects are a very important part of Interact. These projects that clubs can do are local, national, and international. Each year, Interact clubs must complete at least one community service project and at least one project that furthers international understanding and goodwill.

Some projects that our Interact Clubs have been involved in:

-Volunteered at Blue Hills Alzheimer Care Center
-Walk for Hunger (fundraising and walk)
-End Polio Now Fundraising (sold candy at town elections)
-ShelterBox Fundraising (sell shelterbox bracelets at most of our events)
-Papa’s House (Nepal Orphanage, raising money for laptops, collected school supplies, and traveling to Nepal to teach English and deliver school supplies)
-Senior Thanksgiving (Serve/Prepare food for seniors in our town the weekend before Thanksgiving)
-Razia’s Ray of Hope (Afghan school for girls. Raised money and helped run fundraiser night)
-Organized clothing for hospital for abused and neglected children in Providence, RI
-Created bags of dental supplies for abused and neglected children in Providence, RI
-Planning a Hike for a Cause at local wildlife sanctuary (this year, in the works, may not happen until next year, we will see)
